Do I need a website for my small business?

Yes, it has become the utmost priority to have an online presence for a business. Be it a small, medium, or big size company, every business needs an effective website to stand ahead in the competition.

Let us quickly jump on to why my small business needs a website?

For Business development, Effective communication, Quick analysis and continuous support.
  1. Business development and to attract new customers
  2. Effective communication
  3. Quick and easy results
  4. Information, support, and service.

and an additional reason for Long term benefits.

Let me elaborate on how it helped my small business:

  1. Business development and to attract a new audience

I was happy with my current customer size, but for me to sustain in the business; I definitely need to expand and attract my potential customers. When all the marketing efforts got exhausted only way was to build a website in fact a dynamic website. So how did I do that?

  1. Identified platforms by comparing various CMS platforms
  2. Registering a Domain for my small business
  3. Identifying an appropriate template for my small business
  4. Build a website completely
  5. Publish it online

Today’s technology is at fingertips, buy some time to figure out which suits your best needs.

2. Effective Communication

My website was built in such a way that it speaks about my ‘BRAND’. A website should appeal to your customers to build credibility in them. Having one with appropriate information and communication has definitely solved my purpose of building credibility. Now, I am rated as one of the best sellers in the market and also in fair pricing! interesting right!

A website integrated with plugins helped my small business to capture and analyze data better when compared to other channels. I integrated my website with the google analytics tool, it was magical when I started understanding it. It was not a cakewalk though initially, over time it did make a lot of sense to my small business.

eg: I had a lot of organic customers coming to the site from the Scarborough area and are in the range of 24 to 35 age and they are females

I could find it out only by capturing and analyzing data that is just a sample set coming to my site. Imagine if I was able to analyze the whole set of populations.

4. Information, support, and service

A website is a one-stop solution for great customer service. I could make announcements, set up chatbots, 24/7 customer service, and much more. A website made my life easy, an update made in my service can be sent out to all channels with one click. Starting a small business involves a lot of strenuous work, so when I started my website I realized, I saved a lot of time, indeed I saved a lot of time!

Last but not the least reason is for Longtime benefits;

For me, the most realistic approach is to run my small business in the long run which forms a stable foundation.

Conclusion:

In a nutshell, Yes a website is important for any business if you are looking for a long-term approach. Buy some time to figure out which platform is suitable, finding an appropriate template, etc., A good optimistic start will show you the way!
